In order to meet the demand for new energy vehicles for high-performance aluminum alloy sheets, the Aluminium Materials Application Research Institute has carried out a correlation study on the composition – process – metal microstructure – basic properties and application properties of 5XXX, 6XXX, 7XXX series aluminum alloy automotive sheets. Through these studies, combined with industrial production, it has realized the large-scale application of 6014 and 6016 aluminum alloy plates for the outer plate of the overlay, 5182 and 5754 aluminum alloy plates for the inner plate of the overlay or structural parts, and 7075 aluminum alloy plates for hot forming.

What preparations need to be made before confirming production?

After confirming the order, we usually take 5-7 days to prepare the DFM report of the product. After confirmation, we spend 25 days to complete the mold, and provide T1 samples to customers for testing in the following 10-15 days.

If there is a problem with the test, we will re-sample it for free based on the feedback and provide a suitable sample.
